Flower Donations
At Second Bloom Ministries, we repurpose wedding or event blooms into beautiful bouquets and deliver them to elderly neighbors, shut-ins, people in hospitals, hospice care, and others throughout the community.
Why Donate?
Flowers that might otherwise be thrown away become a powerful expression of care and encouragement. Each bouquet reminds someone that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.
How It Works
-
To schedule a pickup with our team, please fill out either the event donation agreement or the general flower donation form, and take a moment to review the terms and conditions below.
-
After confirming the details with you, we’ll come and collect the flowers.
-
Volunteers refresh and redesign the arrangements before delivering them to those in need.
We accept all kinds of flower donations — not just those from events. If you have extra blooms or would like to purchase flowers to donate from any of the categories listed below, we would be grateful to receive them. To arrange a donation that’s not connected to an event, please complete the general flower donation form located under the Donate Flowers page.
Event Donations – These are flowers from a specific celebration or gathering. Please use the event donation agreement for these:
-
Weddings
-
Birthday or anniversary parties
-
Baby or bridal showers
-
Corporate events or galas
-
Graduation celebrations
-
Holiday or seasonal events
General Donations – These are flowers not tied to a particular event. Please use the general flower donation form for these:
-
Extra or unsold flowers from local florists
-
Church altar arrangements
-
Flowers from personal or community gardens
-
Leftover or near-date flowers from grocery stores or wholesalers
-
Individual donations from friends or neighbors
Funeral flowers can be donated either way — if you’re donating flowers immediately after a service, use the event donation agreement; if they’re leftover or pre-arranged, use the general donation form.
Flower Donation Guidelines
To help us create bouquets that truly brighten someone’s day, please donate flowers that are still fresh and vibrant.
✅ Great to donate: Blooms that are colorful, firm, and still hold their shape.
❌ Please skip: Flowers that are wilting, browning, or shedding petals or leaves.
Tip: If you’d still feel proud to gift the flowers to someone today, they’re perfect for Second Bloom!
